TEXAS JACK

Hey folks, this is waaaay late in getting on here, but shit happens.  I figure better late than never, right?  My apologies to Texas Jack for being so damn late getting this on here!

Texas Jack is a four-piece band hailing from the Vernon, TX vicinity featuring  Pancho on guitar,  Mark on rhythm guitar, Shane on Bass & Shannon on drums.  Texas Jack  enjoy working together and it shows. These guys are practiced, with strong rhythm, having been together since 1996.

Texas Jack has a rockin, kickin garage band/country/southern fried sound about them.  Clearly, they are influenced by all types of music.  These boys really rock! In their version of the classic “Folsom Prison Blues,” they take it dip it, southern fry it and serve it up hot for your listening enjoyment. Their rendition of this great song was classic power blues.  Johnny would definitely approve.

With songs like “I walk the line,” which features 80’s style guitar riffs, and originals such as, “As Long as I Keep Coming Home to You” they blast a great stage presence that’ll have you stompin your feet.  Mark has that sexy smokin Rod Stewart sound about him on that song. Texas Jack is definitely not a sedate band!  They have a driving style and handle up on great covers, and killer originals.

Their drinkin song “Hey,” which is a rockabilly punk anthem is Beer Bytch approved.  These guys are a great party band.  If you get a chance to see these guys, please do.  You won’t be sorry.  Texas Jack is BB approved for your listening pleasure.  Check out their web site to learn more.
