Natchez Trace

Turn The Jukebox Up

"Turn The Jukebox Up," the long-awaited first CD from local band Natchez Trace is finally out, and I must say, it was one definitely worth waiting for!  They were among the first artists to be listed on the Beer Bytch artist's page after I got hooked on their music at another great installment of The Pickin Party at Lone Star Cafe.  After what seemed an eternity, and a long dry spell where they seemingly fell off the face of the Earth, they are back and better than ever with a great new CD.  It's good to have them back!  Not only does their new CD rock, they also put on one HELL of a show!  It was very hard to sit still!

Their sound reminds me alot of a cross between The Eagles, Buck Owens & George Strait.  You can definitely tell Natchez Trace has not forgotten the country greats that paved the way for them, they remain true those classic country influences.  They have a fresh sound that mixes the very best of those classic country sounds with a modern twist.  There was just not a bad song on this CD!  Everything from the songwriting to the picking was one treat after another on here.  My favorite song, if I had to choose just one would have to be "Mexican History."  I really like the way these guys harmonize on that song.

These guys are for real and nothing can stop them, if you get a chance to see them  play, go and do it!  You won't be disappointed.  Get a copy of this hot CD, it's one not to be missed.

Natchez Trace has been Beer Bytch approved for y'alls listening enjoyment!

(and Mom liked it too!)
