I'm a Leo.  I graduated from Arlington High in 1995, worked retail for a couple of years at various stores before making a serious career move to the tech side of things.  I worked in the QC dept at a company called NTT.  I did a brief contracting stint at MCI/Worldcom before I settling in at Sprint PCS in November of 2000.  I was there for 4 years and decided to move on and have been at hotels.com for almost 4 years now.  I graduated from The Art Institute in Dallas, in September of 1998, receiving my Associate of Applied Arts Degree in Visual Communications, (graphic design)

We are a revolving door for kitties here!!

• Peaches does not live with me, but is on my picture page, and is living at a friends house. :(  I REALLY miss him bad!!
• Callie Kitty is a calico kitty that adopted me.  She needed a safe place to have her baby kitties at!  She just walked right into my apt, and into my heart. :) Callie Kitty has passed on to Kitty Heaven as of 12-23-04
• We were taking care of my Great Aunt's kitty, Golden for her while she was in a nursing home.  Golden passed March 18th of 2004, My great Aunt followed February 2nd of this year 2006.

I have 2 cats now.

• Charcoal Kitty - is one of Callie's babies.  Callie had had 3 babies, Charcoal Kitty, "Screechums" and "Mr. T."  I placed the Tabbies (Mr. T.  and Screechums) in a good loving home through the help of a VERY nice lady named Mary at a cat adoption/rescue shelter in Dallas called KittiCo.  You can see pictures of Callie and Charcoal kitty HERE. 
• And There's Tiger.  Tiger's middle name is "Wailin" because he makes ALL KINDS of noise!

When I have a "life," I like going to concerts, movies, and out to dinner, and occasionally out to clubs.  I love live music, and Brian Burns, Max Stalling and Jay Johnson are the BB's "Holy Trinity" of Texas Music! I also love going to Irish pubs.  I have kind of gotten away from the entire music scene, but I want to be back into it again soon.

I'm an artist, and a poet, and I listen to anything from George Strait to Scottish bagpipe music!!  My music tastes are pretty diverse, although I really prefer Americana music, or OKOM. (check the Texas section on my site for more on that!) and the bagpipe music. I am PASSIONATE about supporting TEXAS MUSIC.  None of this "Nash-Vegas" Crap for me, Noo thank yew!  I am doing all I can to support the local artists and radio in the area, although I have been out of the loop for a while due to many issues.

 I also really enjoy being outside.  I like taking walks in the park at night, stargazing, and camping out.  I  also love fishing!  I also love going to Renaissance festivals like Scarborough Faire, Hawkwood Faire, and to The Highland games, and The Celtic Heritage festivals, as well as the North Texas Irish Fest.  I also enjoy going to museums, and antique malls.  My mother has instilled in me a love of antiques that will never die.

I enjoy reading anything from fantasy fiction to trashy romances, and shooting pool (at least attempting to NE WAY), drinking beer, and playing darts.

My 2 favorite times of year are Spring and Fall, because it is moderate, and not too hot or cold.  But between the two, I think Fall is probably my very favorite time of year, because that's when the State Fair of Texas rolls around. :) I always make it a point to go at least once.  I've been going to the State Fair since I was real little, it's become a tradition to go EVERY year! :) I also like Fall because of all the warm, pretty colors in nature, and I love wearing comfort clothes like sweaters.
